About
More from your land.
Montana Spaces, by Bridger West, exists to help you add real value to the property you already own. We guide both sides of the project: the planning (property analysis, zoning, and permitting) and the build, managing local trades for the on-site work from foundation through final set.
We're a general contractor, not a manufacturer. We specialize in quality modular and kit homes, working with a curated network of manufacturers and local trades to find and build the right solution for each property. We don't build custom homes; we build kit and modular homes.

Our Model
Buy the unit direct. We handle the site work.
In a traditional build, the general contractor owns the entire project and marks up the whole thing: materials, labor, and the home itself. We take a different approach for modular and kit homes. We connect you directly to the manufacturer so you purchase the factory-built unit straight from the source.
Then our scope is the on-site work: foundation, utilities, and set. You have a direct relationship with the manufacturer for the home, and we're your contractor for the build.
It's a simpler, more transparent model. Modular isn't always cheaper, but by narrowing the scope and keeping the relationships direct, we work to keep the project as efficient as possible without cutting corners on quality.

Why We Built This
A better way to build on your land.
Montana Spaces started on the road. Early in his career, he managed the construction of thousands of cell towers across the West. That work put him in contact with contractors, inspectors, and trades from Miles City to Kalispell and everywhere in between. Those relationships, built over more than a decade, are what let Montana Spaces manage your project end-to-end, statewide, without you having to assemble and manage that network yourself.
In time, he shifted his focus to real estate, where his passion had always been. Building spec homes and working in real estate across the state, he saw firsthand how rising housing costs are making it harder for Montana families to find practical, affordable ways to adapt as their needs change. At the same time, labor shortages and rising construction costs have made traditional building increasingly expensive, slow, and disruptive.
Drawing on over a decade of construction and real estate experience, he identified a solution being overlooked: modular. Factory-built homes can be delivered with predictable timelines and consistent quality, sidestepping many of the delays and disruptions of traditional construction. But he also recognized the gap in the market: no one is going to call a random company in Washington and order a modular home. They need someone local, someone who can walk the property, talk it through, and build it from feasibility to set. That's the foundation Montana Spaces was built on.
We believe there's a better way.
By working with high-quality prefabricated and modular building partners, we can shift much of the construction into controlled environments, reducing weather delays, shortening on-site timelines, and minimizing the disruption of having construction crews in your backyard for months at a time. The result is consistent quality, and in many cases, a more predictable path to adding real value to your property.
For some families, an ADU means creating a comfortable home for aging parents. For others, it's a place for grown children, additional rental income, a guest house, or simply more space without leaving the home and neighborhood they already love. Montana Spaces, a Bridger West company, was created to bring these pieces together and give property owners across Montana one knowledgeable partner to help make their property work better for today and whatever comes next.
